The embankment performance is uncertain as the pool of record has not exceeded flood pool and parts of the embankment have not been loaded by the pool. Uncertainty is present in the hydrologic data as the PMF, pool frequencies, and high pool durations will change. The failure likelihood was rated as remote, with low confidence.Joe Pool has a history of downstream slope stability concerns. The project has previously suffered multiple slides.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities,transportation, tools, materials, permits, supervision, and other items and non-personal servicesnecessary to perform herbicide services as defined in this Performance Work Statement.

USACE intends to utilize the POCA(s) to support civil works not limited to, construction, renovation, repairs, preventive maintenance, and environmental abatement activities. Repair surface slides 7 located at approximate station 60+32 to 61+40 and slide 13 located at approximate station 11+00 to 13+00 at Joe Pool Dam Lake.
