Box 1000, Healy, Alaska 99743 to renew the surface coal mining permit for the Jumbo Dome Mine, Permit Number S-0606.The Jumbo Dome Mine is located on State Land approximately 90 miles south of Fairbanks, Alaska, and 9 miles northeast of Healy, Alaska. The Jumbo Dome Mine permit area consists of approximately 3,237.7 acres of which 1098.7 will be disturbed over the 27-year mine life.

Pursuant to 11 AAC 90.167(b) UCM has proposed a reclamation bond in the amount of $76,357.00 to cover the associated reclamation liability of 7 of the proposed 30 drill holes and monitoring wells at Jumbo Dome Mine permit. UCM continues to maintain 3 test pits, 22 monitoring wells, and reclaiming up to 30 additional exploration holes, and up to 16 miles of access trails.

Box 1000, Healy, Alaska 99743, has requested 4.46 acres for Phase II Bond Release for portions of their Jumbo Dome Road Corridor, permit No. S-0605. The bond release request for Phase II is based on UCM establishing revegetation under the requirements set forth in AS 27.170 (c) (2).
