Kitasoo Nation RFP Design-Build Heliport Project Description :Kitasoo/Xai’xais Nation (Nation) does not have a heliport where the operations of emergency air evacuations can be performed safely and at night. The Nation currently uses an open gravel area in the southwest corner of the community, which has residents houses directly under the flight paths. This area is the future location of a new fire station as well as a community centre.
