Description of Work: The mandate of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is to promote the peaceful exploitation and development of space, to advance the knowledge of space through science and to ensure that Canadians benefit from science and space technologies both socially and economically. CSA's digital transformation and technology sector plays an important role in developing various applications in support of this mandate.
Responsive offerors will demonstrate depth of knowledge in and breadth of knowledge across the relevant discipline areas, experience in integrating research across those disciplines, and experience in the development of advanced technology from those integrated results, as evidenced by past projects.
WE PROPOSE TO CONTINUE OUR WORK ON THE NASA CMS SCIENCE TEAM TO IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE OF METHANE EMISSIONS IN NORTH AMERICA AND GLOBALLY THROUGH THE EXPLOITATION OF SATELLITE DATA AND IN SERVICE TO STAKEHOLDERS. THERE IS CONSIDERABLE NEED TO ASSESS GAPS IN NATIONAL METHANE EMISSION INVENTORIES, INCLUDING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM DIFFERENT SECTORS.
