Answers to Questions submitted with respect to the solicitation for the USAID/Kosovo’s Investment Promotion and Access to Finance Activity. USAID appreciates the time and effort put into preparing proposals in response to this solicitation.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking proposals to provide technical assistance and support to USAID/Pakistan’s Office of Economic Growth and Agriculture (EGA) for their Investment Promotion Activity as described in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). USAID anticipates the award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) Completion type contract for an anticipated five-year period.

The sole intent is to conduct market research to determine the agency’s acquisition strategy and to determine the capability of US small businesses, as per FAR 19, to design and implement a private sector development activity to strengthen private sector capacity for sustainable economic growth through investment promotion and increased access to diversified finance in Kosovo.

The extension period will provide for activities organized based on the key components of JCP: support for the Jordan Compact through the Project Management Unit (PMU) within the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC); investment promotion work with the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC); and support for the implementation of "Enterprise Jordan" and expansion of the Firm-Level Assistance (FLA) program.
