NSWCPD intends to procure Pressure Transducers from Kulite Semiconductor Products Inc on a sole source basis. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106(b).

Description: Pressure Transducer - Sensor.The Government intends to negotiate solely with Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. under the authorityof FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. has proprietary rights for this PressureTransducer – Sensor.

It has been determined that Kulite Semiconductor Products Inc is the sole provider of Unstead pressure transducers for ballistic range model instrumentationNASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

NASA LaRC intends to purchase customized miniature unsteady pressure transducers from Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. The transducers must be interchangeable with previously procured transducers. Custom transducer and amplifier design work from Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. is not available from other transducer manufacturers or resellers.

AFTC/PZI (Arnold) at Arnold AFB, TN intends to award a single source, firm fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. for pressure transducers.
