This combined/solicitation/synopsis is for the purchase of the following commercial services and products. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Services. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED COMBINED SYNOPSIS WITH ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH ALL VENDORS MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. PLEASE NOTE, ALL BIDS MUST INCLUDE THE FAR 52.204-24 (OCT 2020) COMPLETED PROVISION WITH THEIR QUOTE.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to Remel, Inc., Lenexa, KS for laboratory equipment maintenance services. This is the only known Vendor trained and authorized to perform equipment maintenance for ThermoFisher-manufactured laboratory equipment. The Government uses this equipment for the National Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System (NARMS).
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc., Shelton, CT for laboratory equipment maintenance services. This Vendor provides full coverage for OEM manufactured parts not available by other Vendors. There are no known trained and authorized Vendors who can perform maintenance services to OEM standards.
