The Project is on the Chattahoochee River in Northeast Georgia, approximately 35 miles northeast of Atlanta, GA.

Requirement for Electric Arm Access Gates at Lake Sidney Lanier, Gwinnett & Forsyth Counties, Georgia. This project includes, but is not limited to: construction and installation of electric arm access gates and entry keypads, steel posts, concrete pads, traffic sensing loops, and underground power supply sources.
This contract is for Sidney Lanier Project machines.The vendor shall provide twelve (12) months of hosting/cellular services for sixteen (16) machines located at Lake Sidney Lanier for a base year and four 1-year options. The vendor shall provide technical support, machine maintenance/troubleshooting, and notify the Government of any updates via email and/or telephone.

This was a competitive action that included both firm-fixed price and cost reimbursable contract line items (CLINs). Although certain services can be reasonably anticipated and quantified, there is still significant uncertainty relative to performance, cost, and schedule for other requirements of this contract that are more suitable for cost-reimbursement. Therefore, this type of contract was appropriate in this procurement situation.
