Earthmoving and land clearing for all types of sites (e.g., building, non-building, mining) is included in this industry. Establishments primarily engaged in construction equipment rental with operator (except cranes) are also included.
Supporting facilities include significant grading and drainage improvements, stormwater retention and flood control, land clearing/grubbing, concrete pavements, asphalt pavements, active vehicle barrier system, passive force protection elements, fencing, general site improvements, and extension of underground utilities to serve project.
Bids shall be taken from Prime Contractors pre-qualified by the Public Works Certification Board in the following classification/s: 1622.01 Gen Constr-Brdgs, vdcts, elevd hwys, rlwy, tnls, or 1794.01 Earthmoving and Land Clearing, or 1794.02 Excavation. The Specified construction period is ending October 15, 2020. The State of Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A goal of 7% MBE and 5% WBE has been set for this project.

Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Land Surveying & Staking, Wetland Delineation, Civil Site Work Plans addressing Best Management Practices for Permitting Stormwater Erosion Control & Management, address NEPA Environmental Conditions, Timber Cutting & Removing, Brush Mulching, Terrain Grading, and Final Stabilization. Prior to beginning clearing a series of Land Surveys, Permitting, and Governmental Approvals will be required.
The Project consists of vegetative clearing of up to 800 acres of land area to be inundated by Lake Ralph Hall in Project Areas east of SH 34. Bidding Documents may be examined at the Owner’s office at 900 N. Kealy St., Lewisville, TX 75067 during normal business hours.
