CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR LANDSCAPING AND PARKING PROJECT Project Description :INGENIUM is undertaking the remediation of the CSTM and Ingenium Center landscaping and parking spaces and seeks skilled Construction Companies to provide Construction Management (CM) services in connection with this major, multi-disciplinary project at the Canada Science and Technology Museum, 1865 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario.

This project will see traffic and pedestrian flow reconfigured to allow for improved access and reduction of traffic congestion. The project will include the removal of 3,800 square meters of failing asphalt surfacing and the removal of 675 square meters of concrete sidewalk. This will be replaced with new access roads, improved parking lots, multi-use paths and sidewalks.

The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for construction of the Parking and Landscaping project as indicated in drawings and specifications. Work includes all demolition, excavation, concrete, asphalt, stormwater management, landscaping, electrical, and all other associated finishes as necessary to Parking and Landscaping Project.

Landscaping will be for the entire park and not just the areas around the trail. - Install trees and shrubs according to species, spacing, and layout specified in the drawings. - Backfill planting holes with suitable soil and amend as necessary to promote healthy plant growth. - Water newly installed plants thoroughly and establish a watering schedule as needed for ongoing maintenance.
