Laser Ablation System

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a sole source requirement to ADAPT LASER SYSTEMS LLC., 1218 Guinotte Ave, Kansas City, MO 64120, Cage Code 3PRL2.This procurement is for Laser Ablation equipment, which is defined as a portable handheld laser ablation system, comprised of base 1000W pulsed laser unit with controller and chiller, umbilical assembly and work head.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a Laser Ablation System. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to RPMC Lasers under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that RPMC Lasers is the sole provider of a Laser Ablation System that can etch ITO.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
