LASER ABLATION SYSTEM

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a Laser Ablation System. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to RPMC Lasers under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that RPMC Lasers is the sole provider of a Laser Ablation System that can etch ITO.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

They system must consist of an excimer (λ= 193 nm) laser ablation system and be equipped with a dual-volume sample cell, that can hold a variety of geological matrials (i.e. thin sections and grain mounts).
