It has been used for over 35 years by the Air Force and provides inflight lavatory, oven, refrigeration, and coffee capabilities. The unit was designed to hold up to 39 gallons of potable water and 60 gallons of waste (including 11 gallons of precharge).
This project is to add electronic water saving devices to approximately 1,840 toilet, lavatory and shower valves, and shall be installed and concealed in a manner which will prevent Tampering. Additionally, approximately 192 porcelain sinks and toilets are to be replaced with stainless steel.
Service contract needed to flush out waste water, related materials and chemicals, and lavatory services for multiple aircraft ( i.e. 24 gallon tanks containing 5 gallons of blue chemicals) per week.
