DPS seeks to award a blanket contract for Law Enforcement Leadership Training.
The ideal candidate will have proven law enforcement leadership and managerial experience, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be at the rank of second-line supervisor or higher with a minimum of ten years of experience in policing, and at least five years of experience in management and supervision.
Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Law Enforcement has a requirement for a Leadership Instructor to provide leadership and other law enforcement topical area instruction in the law enforcement training program managed by the Training Development Division. The period of performance will be a base year and two option years. This posting will be referred to under Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 140F0S23R0024.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and certification from the FBI National Academy, Southern Police Institute, Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, or other law enforcement executive leadership course. Demonstrated leadership in a community-focused police department, mentoring and developing officers at all levels, and transparency and engagement with the community is also preferred.
