This project will establish a new gravel surface equipment storage and laydown yard in a woodedundeveloped area at Jefferson Lab. The size is approximately 4 acres. The project will require clearing andgrubbing the existing site of all trees and adding compacted gravel backfill to create the new storage area.

This project will refurbish the New River Light and Power Laydown yard. This includes milling failing asphalt, resurfacing the entire yard with new pavement, re-grading specific areas to fix drainage issues, and reworking the power transformer loading dock and storage to better meet current needs. The project will be administered as a formal project. Additional project requirements will be given to the teams that are short listed and/or selected.
