The parking development was proposed as part of Alyeska’s 2008 Ski Area Master Plan, which was public noticed in February and March 2009 and approved on April 1, 2009, in accordance with the terms of the 55-year lease agreement. This development is proposed to take place in 2025. The goal of this parking area is to increase overall skier parking and accommodate future growth.
