The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, proposes to execute a Land Lease at Fairbanks International Airport for Block 102, Lot 19BA, containing approximately 60,822 square feet. The file number is ADA-90929, and the applicant is Fredrick Distad dba Arctic Aviation. The term of the lease is 55 years commencing July 1 st, 2022, through June 30 th, 2077.

Winter cross country travel on state lands not within state upland mining lease(s) may also be authorized. Other state land use outside of the upland mining lease, if any, will be adjudicated by DNR separately. APPLICANT(s): Thomas & Fairbanks Excavation LLC.

Authorized uses: Aeronautical – Various navigational aids.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease 20 year term extension without competition. Written comments or objections must be received by 4:30 p.m., July 6, 2020, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the lease.
