The facility is located on a site of approximately 14.09 acres total area with a delineated limit of waste area of approximately 10.25 acres. Disposal operations began shortly after October 1, 1987 and consisted of vegetative land clearing debris and construction and demolition (C&D) materials. Landfilling operations ceased during the first half of 2013. Closure activities are anticipated to be completed by June 2022.
Added: Apr 03, 2017 8:45 am Description - 230.01 This work consists of removing limbs, residual slash, live roadside brush, and small trees between, or obtruding into the designated brushing limits. Brushing areas include turnouts. 230.02 Brushing. Cut all brush and small trees (6 inches diameter, or less, at the point of cut) inside the brushing limits and outside the roadbed no higher than 4 inches above ground level.
