The STAR training is a package of training activities that may include live and/or virtual sessions with an endorsed trainer, online modules, coaching and feedback to instructors to practice strategies in the classroom, and learning community opportunities.
Following a train-the-trainer model, the Contractor(s) would provide in-person and virtual trainings, coaching, and support for faculty, staff, and administrators from no less than five Vermont sites (inclusive of Supervisory Unions or Districts and Adult Education and Literacy providers). The family engagement and small group literacy session trainings, coaching, and support must align and reinforce one another.
