The family of Close Combat Blank System (CCBS) consists of three (3) cartridges (XM1177 / XM1178 / XM1179) and they provide the capability to conduct close quarters live fire blank training. A Blank Firing Adapter (BFA) shall not be required to fire the CCBS. Ammunition must be compatible with the current US Government approved Close Combat Mission Capability Kit (CCMCK) conversion kits.
