The LMO shall be responsible for his/her assigned portfolio from the time of its transfer from the loan originations departments (or from another officer) until the final repayment or recovery of the loan. In the fulfillment of these responsibilities, the LMO may perform this work alone or in combination with more junior or senior FICMD officers, as directed by the MD.
When there is a match that links an exporter, lender, or supplier in a transaction to fraud or corruption, the results are forwarded to EXIM loan officers working on the transactions, the Credit Monitoring and Review Division, and the Office of the General Counsel for remediation.
