The City of Yakima has received a grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), requiring no local matching funds. The work will consist of collecting and providing to the city pedestrian and bicyclist data to update the Local Road Safety Program to aid in prioritizing city pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements.
Concrete repair projects include streets, pavement, curb, gutter, ADA ramps, alleys, and sidewalks along arterials, collectors and local streets within the City limits to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility. All repair projects both new and replacement of deteriorating concrete, sidewalk and ramps will be ADA compliant.
Pedestrian Safety Improvements - Maple Canyon Avenue Sidewalks The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until December 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Pedestrian Safety Improvements - Maple Canyon Avenue Sidewalks project.
