Contractors Neurology physicians must be board certified or eligible for certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in Neurology. All continuing education required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times. One FTE is defined by VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does not include holidays.
