The purpose of this acquisition is to provide LRIP Option 3 and two years of STS for the MPF vehicles. The STS services are for two years for the varying degrees of expertise and technical support. The total estimated cost for this additional LRIP option quantity and STS effort is $523,714,454.An additional LRIP Option 3 requirement for the production and delivery of 42 vehicles will be added at down select.

The LRIP awards and deliveries to conclude in FY20.  The intent of this notice is not to solicit competitive offers. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, interested offerors may submit their capabilities or responses before the closing date and time of this notice to the Government for consideration. 

This award includes NRE of the DDSR Program for incorporation into the CH-53K LRIP Lot 3 production aircraft. The award is broken into two parts with a base period and an option to be exercised in CY2021.

The contract will specify delivery of 3 each MET LRIP within six months after contract award for the purpose of PQT, OT, and Logistics Products Development. Follow on production delivery shall begin 180 days after receipt of order at a rate of 15 trailers per month.
