The purpose of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing machinery and controls that operate the miter gates, valves, and controls system, increase the size of the exiting machinery recesses, and install the compact hydraulic machinery, reconnect to the existing gates, and install the necessary electrical components to connect to the master PLC and Remote I/O Panels.In Water Work.
The machinery control system was designed and installed by The GBS Group under contract number 1305M221PNMAN0353. To maintain the warranty, the OEM must complete all modifications and grooming.
NSWCPD has a requirement for all activities associated with DDG-51 FLTI (Flight), FLTII, FLTIIA (Legacy, Modernization and New Ship Construction), FLTIII & HED (Hybrid Electric Drive), Modernization and Obsolescence Machinery Control Systems (MCS), Damage/Casualty control Plotting Systems, Fuel Control Systems (FCS) and Integrated Bridge Control system, computer program development, testing, equipment harvesting, and installation for ship construction
DDG-51 Integrated Bridge Controls (IBS) Systems provide a means of automating the collection, processing, and bridge watch stander's efficiency and navigational safety. Integrated Bridge Controls systems implement ship control Algorithms to reliable control steering Machinery Control System and Fuel Control System (FCS) computer programs Shipboard and at LBES.
This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 516, which is responsible for machinery controls engineering support and advanced damage control systems support.The requirement is in support of a contract for Propulsion Auxiliary Control, Damage Control, Ballast Control, and various machinery control Human-Machined Interfaces (HMI). These HMIs shall be used on U.S. Naval Ships, Military Sealift Command, Army, U.S.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This contract will be for the replacement of all head gate machinery, wiring, controls and machinery huts at the following three dams: Wolf Creek, Center Hill, and Dale Hollow. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: It is anticipated that from the IFB solicitation, the Government will award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Supply Contract.
