The existing Kaspar facilities are currently at capacity for fleet storage, maintenance, and administration services to support current transit service levels. The KHMP identified two phases: Phase 1 to construct a new maintenance facility and Phase 2, anticipated for after 2027, to construct a new bus storage facility.
Seats rows in the bus shall be at least 12 inches apart. The actual seat dimensions shall be at least 18 inches across and 17 Â3⁄4 from back to front. 4.6. Vehicles shall be registered in the state of California. 4.7. Vehicles shall have current registration. 4.8. Vehicles shall be clean, regularly maintained, and in good repair always during the performance of this contract. 4.9. Vehicles shall undergo continual preventive maintenance 4.10.
“Add Alternate 1” generally includes construction of Bus Storage addition to the existing START Bus Storage Facility and associated work.“Add Alternate 2” generally includes construction of the above ground fueling subsystems to complete and make operational the Vehicle Fueling Facility constructed in the Base Bid.
The qualified service operators will be required to provide a full turn-key operation (operations, bus storage, vehicle maintenance service, and an administration facility) for the commuter bus services. The Township will provide the vehicles, fare card software and hardware, and fuel reimbursement for the operation of the service.
