The Department hereby requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Proposers interested in submitting Proposals for the design and construction of the Fontana Maintenance Station (Project) through a design-build Contract. The Project, further defined in Appendix A, is intended to design and construct a new maintenance station on State property located adjacent to and east of Southern Regional Laboratory (13970 Victoria Street).

The revised space utilization study will consolidate all applicable staff located off site within the Las Vegas Metropolitan area excluding staff located at the South Maintenance Station (MY930). Using the space utilization and building study, the SERVICE PROVIDER will develop a feasibility study for a new maintenance facility.Project Schedule:Twelve months from the Notice to Proceed.

This State funded project will construct a new maintenance station in the Kalsin Bay area of Kodiak Island to replace the station that was destroyed by fire. The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,500,000.00. The Project substantial completion date will be March 15, 2018.
