The Housing and Community Development Department with the City of Kansas City, Missouri is requesting proposals to provide a Non-Congregate, Low Barrier Shelter facility to assist unsheltered families and individuals within our community for qualified populations associated with the HOME ARP Allocation Plan as approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
HOME-ARP is a special allocation of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) intended to develop new units of permanent supportive housing that will assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and other vulnerable populations. The total amount available is $1,917,059.40.
The provision of\nHOME ARP Tenant-Based Rental Assistance for residents experiencing or at-risk of becoming homeless\nwas identified as a key objective of the HOME ARP Allocation Plan. This RFP is seeking activities that will\nhelp the Kent HOME Consortium address the objectives identified in the HOME ARP Allocation Plan.
