Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (DoN), on behalf of the Naval Hospital Beaufort, SC, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Sodexo Management, 9801 Washington Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 for Patient Food Preparation, Assembling, Portioning, Packaging and Labeling in accordance with the ADA Diet Manual and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organization.
Additionally, the equipment assures that food is kept at the correct and safe temperature for food safety and Veteran patient satisfaction as well as providing the necessary tools for the transition to a full room service operation. Existing equipment no longer meets the needs of Nutrition and Food Services.
Scope of Work Healthcare Materials Management Services (HMMS) on behalf London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), and in particular the Support Services Department is looking to establish a long-term partnership with a preferred Proponent(s) for the supply of Dedicated LHSC Patient Food and Goods Shuttle Service, between LHSC site locations in London, ON.
Battery operated MHE’s are used by specially trained and licensed NIH government employees and contractors to transport supplies, soiled/clean linen, patient food trays and equipment required for patient care, research support and facility management.This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements
