The inability of a generator will leave the vessel inoperable and in danger of damage or grounding putting personnel at danger. The USGS requires services to replace a Northern Lights 25kw marine generator (same or equal) in the port engine room.

The Memphis District USACE has a requirement is to provide replacement generators for both the port and starboard generator sets on the M/V Lusk & M/V Ward.  The M/V Lusk & M/V Ward is a 1,000 HP push boat owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District. The generators shall be in accordance with the attached solicitation.
