The Licensed Registered Nurse will attend case management staff meetings when necessary and provide training to Healthy Start program staff on the identification of maternal early warning signs to prevent obstetric emergencies. The Licensed Registered Nurse will conduct home visits with Healthy Start program participants, as well as attend home visits to assist Healthy Start program staff when necessary.
This collaboration between TJC and CMS will allow both parties to leverage TJC’s existing project plan for alpha testing and implementation timeline, in order to ensure the timely development of the Severe Obstetric Complications measure.
