McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility project for Charlotte Water, North Carolina Wharton-Smith is a general contractor who is soliciting proposals from City of Charlotte certified MBE and SBE subcontractors & suppliers for the McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility project for Charlotte Water, North Carolina.
In addition to sanitary sewage flows from the McAlpine Creek Basin, it also currently accepts and treats primary sludge (PS) and waste-activated sludge (WAS) from the Sugar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Flows can be transferred from the Irwin Creek WWTP, Sugar Creek WWTP, and in the future, the Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility, to McAlpine Creek WWMF, as a flow management strategy.
