Industry Liaison - Fort McMurray Forest Area Project Description :The Province requires the services of an experienced and qualified Industry Liaison to be provided on an “as needed” basis, with no guarantees of work within the Fort McMurray Forest Area in response to managing wildfire danger, emergency wildfire situations, and wildfire prevention.
Fort McMurray Forest Area - Potable Water Delivery and Waste Removal Project Description :Within the Fort McMurray Forest Area, two fire bases are strategically located to mitigate the risk associated with wildfires, those being Graying and Martin. During wildfire season (March 1 – October 31), the Province requires the delivery of potable water, as well as sewage removal.
Alberta Forestry and Parks, invites formal written proposals to provide two (2) trained and qualified sustained action Firetack crews, consisting of one Leader, one Sub-leader and six crew members, (collectively the "crew"), to work under the direction of the Province throughout the two-year term of this Agreement and to be based in Fort McMurray Forest Area.
Firetack training may be required throughout Alberta in any of the following forest areas: • Calgary Forest Area • Edson Forest Area • Grande Prairie Forest Area • High Level Forest Area • Lac La Biche Forest Area • Fort McMurray Forest Area • Peace River Forest Area • Rocky Mountain House Forest Area • Slave Lake Forest Area • Whitecourt Forest Area
