Contractor shall remove mechanical room doors, door frame and adjacent mechanical room wall as necessary to remove the existing/install the new boiler system, followed by repairs to the altered structure upon completion of installation. Furnish and install new roof exhaust fan to serve both bathroom and grease trap mechanical room. Provide new ductwork, fittings and accessories, modify mechanical room door with new transfer louver as per plans. Furnish and install glycol make-up unit. Unit shall be connected to central chilled water systems as per plans. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 12 April 2017. Tentative date for receipt of quotes is 12 May 2017.
The project includes the installation of a new dedicated outdoor air DX split system for dehumidification, DX heat pump for primary heating and cooling, ductwork, diffusers and grilles, equipment pad, chain-link fencing around exterior equipment, BACnet based DDC controls, new electrical branch panel, electrical wiring and conduit for the new equipment, duct smoke detectors, and new mechanical room door with safety guardrail system.
