Description Northern Kentucky University is soliciting proposals for a medical plan administrator for a January 1, 2023 effective date. We are requesting self-funded proposals only. Please note, pharmacy management is not included in this RFP as it is currently carved-out. Stop Loss is also not required at this time. The medical enrolled population is approximately 1,260.

The City’s medical insurance plan is self-insured. The City has two types of medical plans based on low and high deductibles that retirees may choose from. The City’s medical plan includes health, dental and prescription drugs coverage’s. Attached is a previous valuation conducted in 2017.
