The Texas General Land Office ("GLO") is soliciting proposals from qualified hotels for meeting space, food and beverage service, and an attendee room block for the 11th Save Texas History Symposium (the "Symposium") to be held in San Antonio, Texas on September 23, 2023. The Save Texas History Program (the "Program") focuses on conservation of historic documents and maps at the GLO while promoting Texas history.
VBA intends to issue a Purchase Order (PO), pursuant to FAR 13 single source procedures, for onsite A/V, and meeting room space, rental support services with the chosen host venue hotel, The Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria: 4801 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75244. Event Dates: 4/5/2022 to 4/7/2022.
Required services may include:Conference / Meeting room rentals, ranging from 20 – 200 attendees.AV/IT services and supportCateringAccommodations MPAC is unable to confirm the volume of work required; however, MPAC will contact The Successful Respondents to quote for services as needed and will ensure to provide sufficient notice to plan the meeting / event.
This procurement is for Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment, meeting room rental support services, and light refreshments. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items as required in providing non-personal services support for tasks as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall perform to the standards required by the PWS and those included in the resulting order.
