The current 9” ceramic disc diffusers will be replaced with membrane diffusers and any necessary parts to “retrofit” the new style of diffuser to the existing system. The total number of diffusers to be replaced is 3,372 per train, or a total of 6,744 diffusers for the project. The District would like to purchase an additional 300 membrane diffusers, for a total of 7,044 diffusers.
