The USGS Virginia Water Science Center has a requirement to construct a new metal framed and sided building with concrete foundation. The building will house earth and water sensing equipment, to be installed inside the building later by USGS. Costs for materials, labor, equipment, and tools to install the building are to be included.
The EMS expansion is a 5,000 SF pre-engineered metal building with 3 overhead doors, two restrooms, a large meeting room, and a reinforced storage room. It is connected to the existing structure with a small hall. The site work includes 15 new parking spaces, sidewalks, new curb and gutter, a reworked detention pond and heavy-duty concrete pavement to the new bays.The Public works building is located 1⁄4 mile from the EMS expansion.
