In need of an automated system for molecular testing of solid tumors including colorectal cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma to deliver diagnostic and treatment services to our veterans in a timely manner. To facilitate that objective, a system capable of detecting actionable mutations in genes including BRAF, KRAS, NRAS, and EGFR and Microsatellite Instability (MSI) is required.

The instrument will perform the following testing for patients at University of Illinois Hospital: Microsatellite Instability Testing, Bone Marrow Engraftment analysis, KRAS mutation assay, BRAF V600E mutation, EGFR Mutation, B and T cell clonality, HIV genotyping drug resistance, and others.

Testing methodology Ability to detect cancer relevant biomarkers across tumor types. This includes gene alterations, tumor mutation burden, microsatellite instability, loss of heterozygosity (LOH), homologous recombination deficiency (HRD).
