No solicitation package is available at this timeDESCRIPTION:The Naval Research Laboratory is searching for potential sources that are capable of providing 28 Microwave Tuners that meet requirement as described in the attached draft specification.The draft specification is intended to be descriptive in nature for the types of items that would meet NRL's minimum requirements, and not limit to any particular manufacturer.

Department of Navy, Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Contracting Division, proposes to enter into a sole source contract with DRS Signal Solutions Inc. for six (6) VME Microwave Tuners.  Please see the attached specifications for additional details. This notice is being posted to meet the requirements of FAR Subpart 5.2 and DFARS 206.302-1.

This contract is awarded to DRS Signal Solutions, Inc. in accordance FAR 13.501(a) and 41 USC 1901 for the award of six (6) VME Microwave Tuners. These items were deemed available from the original source for a highly specialized platform, which underwent many years of NRL laboratory developmental testing under previous Government contracts.
