This project will construct a consolidated MilStar Satellite Communications Station for Offutt Air Force Base, NE.  Primary facilities will include a communications facility, special foundations, and redundant power generators.  Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) installation, and Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) connections will be provided.

The C-SAR contract will provide United States Space Force (USSF) and United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) satellite control capabilities for the MILSATCOM programs. These programs include the Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) III, Milstar Satellite Communications System, Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF), and Wideband Global Satellite (WGS) Communication Systems.

The AEHF SMART-T operates with MILSTAR/AEHF satellite constellation-compatible communications payloads. The terminal is transportable, palletized, and integrated into a High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).

These Milstar CONSCAN and antenna drive motors enable the antenna to lock on and track the Milstar satellite. Extreme tolerances and precision speed and feedback are required to ensure the antenna precisely tracks the satellite. Small out of tolerances variances could disable functionality of the antenna and the terminal would be MICAP.
