This limited source justification is for the purchase of the acquisition of technical support and maintenance services for the MiPACS Dental Enterprise Picture Archiving and Communication system (PACS) components of the Dental Imaging Collaborative Environment (DICE) for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Air Force Reserves Command and Air National Guard.
Medicor MiPACS Server and Workstation System (Brand Name Only) INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND: Medicor MiPACS is a dental enterprise Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) that is used to store, retrieve, communicate, and analyze dental images. This server-based system acts as a repository for 2D intraoral and 3D panoramic images. The use of PACS eliminates manual filing, storage, retrieving, and sending of Personal Health Information (PHI).
Under this Deliver Order, VA will receive Brand Name Medicor Imaging support for configuring existing Medicor Imaging dental enterprise picture archiving and communication system (MiPACS) to function with the Cerner implementation of the new Electronic Health Record.
