This requirement is to provid Liquefied Natural Gas to Misawa Air Base, Japan.The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to provide Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to the designated supply point at Misawa Air Base (Misawa AB). This is a pre-solicitation notice for the construction acquisition of Airfield/Pavements Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract at Misawa Air Base (MAB), Japan, with 1-year basic period plus four (4) 1-year options. Fixed-Price (FP), IDIQ type of contract is contemplated, on a basis of Japanese Yen.  

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The solicitation number is FA520522QB039; this solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2022-06, DPN 20220428, and AFAC 2022-0502. See the attached RFQ and SOW for contract requirements. 

The scope of the contract encompasses a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work at Misawa Air Base and locations within 40 km (24.9 miles) radius from Misawa AB, including its associated sites of Draughon Range and Hachinohe Fuel Terminal. Projects/requirements will be awarded by individual task orders on an as needed basis.
