Project Title: B1990 Elevator Modernization Project Location: Shaw AFB, SC This requirement is to modernize the elevator for the control tower (building 1990) on Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Work for this project includes replacing the existing control system, furnishing and installing a new overspeed governor and governor rope as well as car and counterweight roller guides.

The goal of the Elevator Modernization Program (“EMP”) is to address necessary major repairs, modernization and alteration of antiquated elevators that may otherwise affect the health and safety of residents residing in PSH.
