Through this Request for Proposal, the Department of Vermont Health Access is seeking to establish a consulting services contract to support the State in developing Data Governance to support the modernization of the Medicaid data system. This project to modernize Medicaid data is known as the Medicaid Data Warehouse and Analytics Solution (MDWAS).

The DMI team seeks a roadmap leading the department from its currently siloed data governance/data management operations to one that provides central coordination enhancing data sharing, data matching and dataset preparations. The target data governance framework, its components and the associated roadmap leading the DMI team to the target state are the intended outcome of this project.

One of the ultimate objectives of the E2E process is to provide high-quality data that can contribute to the development of AI algorithms that enhance the diagnostic capabilities of pathologists and improve the efficiency and quality of patient care.
