Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for the installation of new dam lift gates at Montgomery Locks and Dam. The work is located at 100 Montgomery Dam Road Monaca, PA 15061-2221. The sites of the work may be reached from state and local roads and streets.

Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for tree felling at Montgomery Locks and Dam, Monaca, PA. The work under this contract includes the cutting down of all trees greater than 2-inch diameter at breast height within an approximately 7-acre area near Montgomery Locks and Dam as shown at the end of the PWS.

It is anticipated the holes will be drilled off a temporary floating barge platform with floating plant, fixed or elevated platform or other methods that will achieve the approximate 2.5-inch hole diameter and horizontal alignment for the anchor.d. The anchor heads with the bearing plate will be required to be recessed within in a larger sized hole or recess opening at a nominal depth within the vertical lock wall.
