Introduction The State of Connecticut, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is recruiting for a Head Motor Vehicle Examiner within the Vehicle Business & Regulation (IRP) Unit at the Wethersfield location. The Head Motor Vehicle Examiner will serve as a lead position to other Motor Vehicle Examiners.
Two (2) years as a Motor Vehicle Examiner Specialist or one (1) year as a Head Motor Vehicle Examiner may be substituted for the General and Special Experience required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and ability to apply motor vehicle laws and regulations; Considerable interpersonal skills; Experience leading, supervising and evaluating staff; Demonstrated experience with problem solving and resolving complex and escalated issues.
One (1) year as a Motor Vehicle Branch Supervisor may be substituted for the General and Special Experience. 3. Two (2) years as a Head Motor Vehicle Examiner may be substituted for the General and Special Experience.
