\nThe purpose of this contract is to provide for the creation of artwork for a multi-media mural within\nthe museum\u2019s new Lunder Education Center. The artwork will include: three two-dimensional\nmurals and four relief wood carvings attached to the walls. This artwork has been specifically\ndesigned in concept by the artist during previous work with Maine State Museum staff.

The project is funded by City of Arlington Public Art Fund. The City will pressure wash the concrete prior to painting. Painting should be done when weather is above 50 degrees and dry, preferably between June and August of 2020. Paint materials will be approved by City, must be exterior paint. The artist is expected to work with youth, who have an interest in skateboarding in the area, on the design.

The Creekside Underpass Mural Project requires Ministry approval and adherence to Ministry requirements (appended).
