This Contract is to acquire software licenses and support which shall provide access to a SaaS system that provides unified and efficient management of all resources that ABMC museum and archives owns, licenses, stewards, and makes available to end users for discovery and delivery.
The purpose of this procurement is to procure a Scientific Collections Management System (SCMS) and related technical support services that is BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to the Electronic Museum (EMu) SCMS, licenses and support for a twelve (12) month period. Because of this institutional knowledge of both the work and of NPS policies and procedures, it would be cost prohibitive to seek another contract for these services since it would require additional time and money spent on training new archivists.
