HIV prevention and surveillance among women who exchange sex or sex trades are a key part of the mission and goals of CDC’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention goal for the national Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative.The National HIV Behavioral Surveillance (NHBS) system is the nation’s only source of national bio-behavioral data monitoring HIV-related behaviors among populations at high-risk for HIV infection.
